Troy and the Giant Castle

At the age of six, I penned the as yet unpublished George and the Giant Castle. It was a clever story, for a six year old, about a boy who slays a dragon in a giant castle.

It was to be the story of my life. I was told in high school that I would never make money as a writer, and so I believed those who “knew better” and spent nearly twenty years trying to deny who I was.

Then after a series of hairnets and name tags, I found that other than writing, I was pretty much unemployable. So I figured it out. How to write, make a living, and live my dream.

I now reside in Boise, Idaho with my wife and our three fur children, exploring the outdoors when not sitting behind a desk writing about worlds we may never see, and some we are thankful do not exist.

Questions about the writing life? Don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
